About

The Harlequin Court Orchestra is a street performance collective of professional musicians

and artists based in and around Vienna, Austria.

 

We seek to create performances in unexpected places with a strong emphasis on audience involvement

and elements of fantasy. A constantly evolving collective, our line-up has included violin, viola,

accordion, clarinet, cello and percussion (to name a few).

 

Some of our current work includes a roving gypsy/jazz/circus ensemble (including fire, acrobatic and

balancing acts) and an installation project inspired by the ‘Virtual Conductor’ exhibition

at the Haus der Musik, Wien where our audience members are invited to

experience what it is like to conduct an orchestra.
